Pricing

Free to start, with unlimited users. One price for the rest.

… per user, per month. Or … per user, per year — two months free.

Starting a company on AhsomO is free. You create it, you become its Ahsomo Leader, and you invite as many colleagues as you like — every user on the free plan costs nothing. What those users get is the volunteering half of AhsomO: opportunities from every organization on the platform, your own postings, and the hours your people put in.

The rest of AhsomO — the company calendar, shoutouts, the weekly game, the weekly survey, messages, company stats and goals — is on the paid plan. On a free company those features are visible but locked; clicking one says what would open it. Nothing about your volunteering changes whether you buy a plan or not.

What the paid plan costs

A user is one person with an account. You pay … a month for each user, whether they are the first or the two-hundredth — no minimum, no base fee — and you can add or remove users at any time.

Trying the paid features first

Any company can take a …-day free trial of the paid plan, from the Billing page. No card, nothing charged, and the whole product open from the first minute — the point is to run a few real weeks on it with real people, which is the only way to tell whether it suits your company.

When the trial is up we ask you to buy the plan. Nothing you built during it is lost while you decide, and you can add a card at any point along the way: nothing is charged until the trial ends, and the plan you picked starts that day. One trial per company — and when it ends with no card added, the company simply carries on with the free volunteering plan it started on.

Paying yearly

The annual plan is … per user, per year — ten months at the monthly rate, so two months are free. It is charged once, up front, for every user on the plan, and again each year. Users you add partway through the year are charged for the part of the year that is left, not for a whole one.

Adding and removing users

  • Adding users is charged pro rata for the rest of the current period, on your next bill: five users added halfway through a month cost half a month for five, and the full amount from then on.
  • Removing users takes effect at your next renewal. The period you have already paid for stands, nothing is refunded mid-cycle, and the next bill is simply for fewer users.
  • You are billed for the users your plan covers — everyone you have invited — not for who happened to sign in this month.

What is not charged for

  • Creating a company. An Ahsomo Leader account is free, forever, and so is every user on it. You are asked for a card only if you decide you want the paid features.
  • Joining a company. Members, Group Leads and Ahsomo Leaders added to a company that already has AhsomO don't pay anything themselves — the company pays for its users, or has them free.
  • Volunteering accounts. External nonprofits and community groups create an account for free and pay a flat $20.00 per posting instead. There is no subscription.
  • Internal volunteer events. A volunteer event for your own people is free to post on every plan. Only a posting pointed at the whole community carries a fee — $20.00 on the free plan, $10.00 on the paid one — and cancelling one returns most of it.

Changing or stopping

  • Add or remove users at any time from the Billing page, on the terms above.
  • Moving between monthly and yearly goes through checkout again.
  • Cancelling is self-serve, through the billing portal. The paid features run to the end of the period you have already paid for, and after that the company goes back to the free volunteering plan — nothing is deleted, and nobody loses their account.
